Data handled

PawDate handles information the user chooses to enter or select: pet profiles and photos, reminders, completion history, medication inventory, dosage text, clinic or veterinarian names, lot or batch numbers, notes, and veterinary-document images or PDFs selected for local OCR.

Purpose

This information is used only to display pet-care records, calculate dates from recurrence rules entered by the user, estimate inventory run-out from user-entered quantities, and send requested reminders.

Local storage

Saved information is stored in chrome.storage.local in the current Chrome profile. PawDate does not claim that this local storage has additional application-level encryption.

Document recognition

OCR and PDF processing run locally inside the extension. Selected files are not uploaded. Original files and full recognized text are not persistently saved. Only fields the user reviews and saves are retained. OCR can be inaccurate, and PawDate does not infer dosage, recurrence or medical schedules.

Notifications

System notifications hide pet names and medication details by default. Users may choose to show details. The operating system may display notifications on the lock screen according to the user’s system settings.

Sharing and retention

PawDate does not sell, share or transmit user data. Information remains in the current Chrome profile until the user edits or deletes it, clears extension storage, uses “Delete all local data,” or uninstalls PawDate.

User controls

Users can edit and delete pets or reminders, restore archived reminders, export a local JSON backup, and delete all local PawDate data from the extension settings.

Veterinary disclaimer

PawDate records user-provided information and performs date or inventory calculations from user-entered values. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, determine dosage or provide veterinary advice.

Changes and contact

If PawDate later adds cloud sync, calendar integrations, analytics or other data practices, this policy and the in-product disclosure will be updated before those practices begin.

PawDate 是本地宠物护理提醒扩展。当前版本没有账户、后台服务器、广告、分析工具或 AI API，也不会向开发者或第三方出售、共享或传输用户数据。

处理的数据及用途

PawDate 处理用户主动输入或选择的宠物资料和照片、提醒、完成历史、药物库存、用量原文、诊所或兽医名称、批号、备注，以及供本地 OCR 使用的兽医文件图片或 PDF。这些资料只用于显示护理记录、按照用户设置的周期计算日期、根据用户填写的数量估算库存用完日期，以及发送用户要求的提醒。

本地存储

保存的信息存储在当前 Chrome 配置文件的 chrome.storage.local 中。PawDate 不声称这些本地资料经过额外的应用层加密。

文件识别

OCR 和 PDF 处理均在扩展内部、本设备上运行。所选文件不会上传，原文件及识别全文不会被持久保存；只有用户核对并保存的字段会保留。识别可能不准确，PawDate 不推断用量、重复周期或医疗安排。

通知

系统通知默认隐藏宠物名和药品详情。用户可以主动开启详细通知。操作系统可能依据用户的系统设置在锁屏界面显示通知。

共享、保留与用户控制

PawDate 不出售、共享或传输用户数据。资料会保留在当前 Chrome 配置文件中，直至用户编辑或删除、清除扩展存储、使用“删除全部本地数据”，或卸载 PawDate。用户还可导出本地 JSON 备份及恢复已归档提醒。

兽医免责声明

PawDate 仅记录用户提供的信息，并依据用户填写的值进行日期或库存计算；它不进行诊断、不推荐治疗、不确定用量，也不提供兽医建议。

变更与联系

如果未来加入云同步、日历整合、分析或其他数据处理方式，我们会在相关处理开始前更新本政策和产品内说明。
